Elected Republicans are generally assholes. This isn't a controversial statement. But rarely do we have such a constant stream of examples happening over a single weekend. Between Trump again offering praise to dictators, dim bulb Marjorie Taylor Greene's homophobia, Mo Brooks trying to reinvent himself, Indiana Senator Mike Braun wanting to take us back to the pre-Civil War era, and the wife of a Supreme Court Justice being a full on QAnon disciple, it's enough to put anyone in a bad mood. Oh, and the GOP is clutching its pearls over President Biden saying what everyone on the planet, except perhaps Trump, is thinking...that Putin needs to be removed from power. God help us if we put these idiots back in power.
